APP PRIVACY POLICY & GOOGLE USER DATA DISCLOSURES

This Privacy Policy governs how Christians Connect accesses, collects, uses, stores, and protects user data obtained through pre-launch registration and Google Sign-In on comingsoon.christiansconnect.net.

    Data Access & Collection: When authenticating via Google Sign-In, Christians Connect accesses only basic identity scopes (openid, email, profile). This is limited strictly to your Google account primary email address, verified display name, and avatar picture.

    Purpose & Use of Data: Google user data is used exclusively to:
    • Authenticate your identity and prevent duplicate or automated reservations.
    • Pre-fill your display name and reserve your chosen Christians Connect @handle.
    • Deliver essential transactional updates and verification notices.
    • Render your personalized pre-launch Member Share Card.

    Google API Limited Use DisclosureChristians Connect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data to third-party data brokers, ad networks, or external commercial platforms.

    Storage & Security: Profile information and handles are stored in encrypted Supabase database instances protected by Row-Level Security (RLS). Profile pictures are hosted in private Cloudflare R2 object storage with encrypted edge delivery. We implement industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

    Data Retention, Revocation & Deletion: You have full control over your information:
    • You can revoke app permissions at any time via your Google Account Security Settings.
    • To request complete and permanent deletion of your reserved handle, account records, email, and avatar, email our data team at [email protected]. Deletion requests are processed and expunged within 48 hours.

    Policy Modifications: Should our data practices or use of Google user data change, we will update this document directly and publish a prominent notice on our homepage at comingsoon.christiansconnect.net prior to changes taking effect.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

  1. 1We do not promote secular and corporate brands, products or politics.
  2. 2Our platform is anchored in the living word of God, the collection of canonical scripture, called the Holy Bible.
  3. 3Contributions are accredited using your username or full name, to better connect with audiences and build trust.
  4. 4We are all equal in the eyes of God, every opinion and contribution matters.
  5. 5Be kind and respectful of others in comments and interactions.
  6. 6We take our members' privacy seriously, do not share anybody’s private activity and information on this platform except for what they have made publicly available to you on their user profile.
  7. 7You can apply to join our team and become a Pioneer, any role assumed should be with the intention of helping people and bringing them to Christ.

CONTENT POLICY

  1. 1We are looking for authentic voices, we do not platform or promote AI content.
  2. 2Unlike traditional platforms we vet our content creators to keep the heart of God, sound doctrine and community trust.
  3. 3Content to be based on scriptures from the Holy Bible.
  4. 4We encourage creators to pray for guidance and be led by the Holy Spirit.
  5. 5We encourage creators to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit when choosing topics to share about.
  6. 6We encourage creators to integrate personal and shared experiences to make the content more relatable.
  7. 7We encourage creators to have fun and share the joy of the Lord.
